Take the Train!

If you prefer to travel by rail (from the UK) you could take the Eurostar from London (St Pancras) to Paris (Gare du Nord) in less than 2hrs 30mins.
From Paris there is a direct line from Austerlitz rail station to Gourdon - most trains take less than 5hrs.

Taking the train is simply the way to travel in France.
Not only is it great value for money, it's also a fantastic way to see more of this beautiful country.

Why should you take the train? You'll enjoy reliable, frequent trains and comfortable, civilised journeys on the French rail network.

No wonder it's considered to be one of the best in the world.

Go by train in France and you can:

  • enjoy first-class, high-speed and long-distance services
  • local/regular speed trains
  • travel fast - door-to-door, going by train can be quicker than flying
  • pay the price that's quoted - there are no extra baggage or fuel charges to budget for
  • enjoy hassle-free travel
  • you keep your luggage with you on the train so there are no long check-ins or waits at the baggage carousel
